Items in question should not be displayed or sold. - Artifacts that were collected illegally or that are illegal to own are strictly prohibited – this includes items collected from Federal or State lands, Indian lands, private land without the landowner's permission and/or items associated with burials. - Authentic Artifact Displays - Artifact Displays are limited to authentic items related to historical artifacts and native cultures. - We strongly encourage displays of local collections. - Educational Displays - Educational Displays such as flint knapping, fakes and forgeries, responsible collecting ect. are strongly encouraged for the education of our members and the public. - Modern items must be set aside from authentic materials and clearly labeled so there is no confusion with authentic material. - Related Displays - Related materials such as books, photographs and contemporary art are acceptable. - Modern Items must be set aside and clearly labeled so there is no confusion with authentic material. - Selling - We require sellers to offer an unconditional 30-day money back return policy on any item sold at the show over which there is question of authenticity or legality. Officers and/or show host will act as final decision makers on any disputes. - It is the responsibility of the seller to accurately represent items as authentic or modern. If the seller is uncertain of authenticity, those items must not be offered for sale or trade. - Buying - Collectors and buyers will be encouraged to seek opinions and education during the event. - Enforcement - Society officers and event hosts will interpret and enforce these Policies at their sole discretion. - Items and Displays not in keeping with these policies may be labeled or removed from the show. - Individuals not adhering to these policies may be removed from participation.
