Hello my name is ben combs I am a antique collector and I got a nice pendant a few years back and I have emailed numerous people to help identify it but no luck yet. It is a water spider emblem which the ones I have seen were made of shell and white with very similar design And hey were made and wore by the Cherokee. I have recenty seen online today that there is moundbuilders And other indians
I have been a collector of many things all my 60 years. I have sold my collections fossils and arrowheads a couple of times and started over, twice. I also have a distinct habit of swinging a metal detector and digging in old dump sites. I have to face facts, if I ain't digging something somewhere I just ain't happy.
My wife, Beth, found her first whole Calapooyan Indian arrow head 6/26/12, in a fresh planted bean field in Gervais, Oregon- a beautiful translucent, -red-maroon, agate corner notch - see picture on page 7 of atrifact photos.
