archaic period is most times on top , not always but close , there u will find all the bigger blades ,, cruder looking big big stuff,,blades ,scrapers , everything , axes galore .. and the quarry is my most prized looking place ,,, found everything in them , from , paleo , cumberland ,archaic , woodland ,,,historical period lol good luck hunting hope u find everything u ever dreamed of ! : zane

other times seen then in the turn's high up the back , after a monster flood comes through , the points get washed up top..then when u pinpoint a sandbar that is holding points , then u can pinpoint where they came from , that's the tricky part ,, farther the point move in the water , the smoother the edges will be ,, so that will give u a good start on how fare the artifact has traveled ,

of course i sat my fishing pole to the side lol ... so many types , eared triangle , straight base triangle , donovan tip triangles . gypsies , u name it and that bird point was in there ..found 27 g10's .... in all a total of 325 and counting ..
