Hi out there, I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me to identify this bag (pictures included). I believe the shoulder strap and brass rivets were added later in its life, since its construction and size do not match the rest of the bag. It is all hand stitched. The leather is thick, heavy and stiff. Thanks for any help you can give me. Sincerely, Rod

I am trying to find those who have spoken about the anthracite coal found in Portsmouth, R.I. because I have a report of the chemical analysis of that coal from the late 1800's that is quite detailed concerning this type of anthracite coal.

I am looking for a similar type report for the coal found at the Viking Western Settlement in Greenland in the 1930's by a Helge Ingstad.  Any help here??? Could we finally have definitive proof of Viking voyages to the new world, mainly into Narragansett Bay well before Columbus???

I have a collection of arrowheads and I am having the mounted in a wooden case that will hang on the wall. This will go in a museum so it needs to be good. What is the proper way to mount them? Do the point face upwards, downwards, or to the side? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi, My name is Ben and I am member of Boy Scout Troop 196. I am currently working on my Eagle Service Project. I am going to build display cases for the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN. These cases will showcase Native American Arrowheads and other artifacts (larger stones). I would like to put a description of the items next to the display case. However I don't know anything about them. If someone could help me out by identifying the artifacts and tell me some information about them (such as where they came from, how old are they, what types, etc.) That would be awesome. If it isn't possible to determine any specific information about them, Could someone give me some basic information about general arrowheads (such as what were they used for and how were they used, ect.)

Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Pipe

Head hunter

Looking for info on pipe. About three inches tall and inch wide at base. Has two little sideways diamonds  on it one on each side. Thinking it could possibly be  cloud pipe.
