some of my collection

dan

hi here are some pics i enjoy hunting arrowheads i find some kind of peace of mind while i`m out walking

Ben

I have a collection of arrowheads and I am having the mounted in a wooden case that will hang on the wall. This will go in a museum so it needs to be good. What is the proper way to mount them? Do the point face upwards, downwards, or to the side? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ben

Hi, My name is Ben and I am member of Boy Scout Troop 196. I am currently working on my Eagle Service Project. I am going to build display cases for the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN. These cases will showcase Native American Arrowheads and other artifacts (larger stones). I would like to put a description of the items next to the display case. However I don't know anything about them. If someone could help me out by identifying the artifacts and tell me some information about them (such as where they came from, how old are they, what types, etc.) That would be awesome. If it isn't possible to determine any specific information about them, Could someone give me some basic information about general arrowheads (such as what were they used for and how were they used, ect.)

Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Monday Creek Ohio

Corey

Ok, so I'm looking for some new fields around my area, and have been doing a little bit of research online about the creeks in my area that flow into the Ohio River. There are 2 main creeks that I live near that do that. One is Sunday Creek, the other is Monday Creek. Both creeks were used by the Indians. I know of 2 fields on either side of a portion of Monday Creek in Nelsonville, Ohio, and I plan on searching them, as well as the outer banks of the creek, but I was wondering if anybody else has had any luck with Monday Creek/Sunday Creek in general?
