I found a small black rectangular stone by the New River in West Va. It has near perfect right angles and made from a dense, black stone. It's very smooth (may have been in river at one time), fits the hand nicely.  What is this?

Still Round

Chuck Elston

Hey Guys 'n Gals - I'm still around.  Been real busy catch'n up on work etc.  Also, a real set back, had both computers go down just after the Grandkids left. HUM!!  Anyway some kinda virus on both that took out the hard drives.  We're back but minus  some $$$.  We never  seem to have these problems until someone visits???  Went hunting again but still haven't found anything.  Guess my haunts are drying up and I need to get some newer hunting grounds.  Still playing around with these new gimmicks on AH.com.  Can't accepty new friend requests and not sure how I go about it.  Oh, Well,  Andrew will figure it out eventually!!!    ---Chuck

museum artifacts

Paul R Frey

Here's how it works. Museums do carry authentic and very valuable artifacts. But normally when they sell something, it's not these that they part with. Museums are rarely heavily funded, therefore can't afford to buy the better things. They will go for copies and display those. What you bought, the shield and jawbone club, are copies. They are worth, together, about what you paid, or less.
