TOPIC: where did the mounds go

twoshovel OFFLINE Member Posts: 512 Thank you received: 94	silver glen fl. state park, is a springs once ringed with shell mounds, back in the 50's they haul them away to make road beds, there's only one left and its so overgrown you can even get a good picture of it, heres a few of where one of the mounds was removed, its hard to tell but thats a big tree,,twoshovel
