I attended this event last year, and I'm going back this year as it was great fun! Everyone is invited, so come out to the farm and check it all out. Lots of good relics, some super collectors to meet, great food and super hospitality!

If it is within reasonable driving distance, you ought to attend. There will be lots of demonstrations and plenty of artifacts from Ohio and all over!

Yep. Pretty darn sure Connor and I are going to attend. Hope I can put some faces to people I have, "met", on the forum. My husband can't attend cuz he works sixth shift on the weekends. Connor will get us there. He'll be my navigator!

It was awesome to meet you and get a chance to thank you face to face for the many lessons you have taught me. The event was awesome, picked up some nice pieces at the auction as well, and Riker frames for $3.00 a piece!!! Legendary price. Unfortunately I had to leave early due to another engagement, but next year I plan on camping there and enjoying all 3 days of the event.

I was unable to attend the event, I could of went today but I wouldn't of arrived until 3, and saw that was the wrap up time, maybe next year. I did sit like a fat cat online for part of the auction, and managed to pry out 2 artifacts I scoped out earlier in the week. $3 is cheap for riker frames. It was very interesting to see what some top relics can bring at an event like that. Some of the prices seemed out of this world, while some others I thought were right on.
My favorite was item #110 though, I would love to see the material on that paleo in person.

My artifacts from Bennett's Rendezvous came in yesterday. I didn't open the box until Father's day. I am pretty happy with them, sorry if anyone from here recognizes these and was bidding against me.

Sweet! I managed to get three relics from two farmers- a nice pipe and an early Coshocton knife from Medina County OH, and a sweet chlorite cone from Ashland County that just walked in in an old shoebox. These were all found over 50 years ago and bought from the finders.

That is a good days hunt! Sweet blade and is the pipe complete? And is it made of limestone? Cool piece.

Yes, the pipe is complete, and is made of a nice grade of sandstone. When I saw that come out of the farmer's box I had to have it! It came out of the first bottom on the Black River, just into Medina County from Ashland County Ohio where the Rendezvous was held.
