Found this one after battleing off the snakes spiders and ticks in the south carolina jungle! not much to look at but its something.Anybody want to venture a guess?

Looks like an Adena, if found in east Texas would be called a Gary , if found in New Mexico would be called an Augustine. Lots of cultures made points that look the same.

It may look like an Adena, but in SC it is a Morrow Mountain. As Dr Tom Hester always says, typology depends on location.

yeah its been worked both sides. it just looks like its been rolled around alot and worn off alot of the flaking. but some flakes are still visible just not in the photo.

No mud, he's saying his Gary in his pic is from Texas. It gets confusing when people post unrelated relics in a thread!
Yours is from SC where you found it. It's not a Gary as there are no Garys in SC. It looks like rhyolite, perhaps.
