Greg Szbala took the LONG drive up here today to do some hunting. Was just hoping we would find something! Turned out being the best single day hunt Ive EVER had!!! We found several pieces, not used to that! All that rain we had made my favorite field just perfect!! Found my 1st complete point since 2007 AND my 1st undisturbed in-situ!!! Found a Madison, Kirk bifurcated, circular scrapper, hammerstone, very cool core and a tiny little birdpoint! Greg found the best piece, an awesome tear-drop shaped point? blade? with fantastic flaking! And a scrapper too. I know it aint much to some of you guys in artifact rich states but.....AS GOOD AS IT GETS HERE!!!!! Ya know there aint alot of us "Arrowhead people" and its great to hunt,B.S. with somebody that appreciates this hobby! Thanks for coming up man yer damn good company!!! And by the way.......I got my housework done so I wont be scolded!!!!! Mark.

That rectangle piece on the picnic table is strange? After cleaning it up it is polished. Its like they got through the cortex and found it wasnt as purdy as they thought and gave up! Have no idea what they had in mind?

Greg, here are pictures of those geofacts I found there. The "celt" looking one buckled my knees till....I picked it up! The other one I still want to think axe pre-form but......its got its place in the garden. Mark.

Spanky, Pretty sure the colorful piece is a core. The scrapper is the crude round piece by the hammerstone. The core looks kinda like hornstone? We have found hornstone and flintridge in this field.

I live for my turkeytails!! Turned kinda one denominational in my collection. You guys didnt even notice the turkey in the picture? Didnt find it today, got it in the mail!
