The snow finally melted enough for me to get out again, and found several points, a couple
of drills, quite a few scrapers, and other tools, and a knife in a couple of afternoons.
Prairie side notch (late prehistoric)
A little broke point
Another Prairie side notch I think made from quartz
My knife, probably been resharpened
A cute little drill. amazing how small the tip is
An interesting tool. Quite narrow, flat on the bottom, with tip broken
A nice resharpened point
Did they use these as scrapers, awls or gravers, or all three? sharp point
Very steep beveled scraper.
A little triangle
My heartbreaker. This would have been a nice one for this field
Another triangle from quartz
Another prairie side notch out of knife river flint
I held my breath when I pulled this one out, but it was complete
Interesting shaped tool
