Here is a little tool I picked up in the garden a while back that has always made me wonder. I think I have the answer, what do you think it is ?

is the post a 4x4 or a 6x6 It might just be heavy enough to hold down a 4x4 Nope nope not a hold down.

Hoss the post is 4x4 I have found several of these objects all broken! Ray, yes a garden tool but not used in gardening!

Those guys must have had the patience of a saint. It drives me nuts when my steel chisels are dull and to have to work wood with that?
Of course it probably wasn't, " I'm going to make a dugout this week", it was probably more like, " I'm going to make a dugout over the next 7,8,9 full moons"

I know what you mean about dull chisels! My wife thinks they make great screwdrivers ! Aaauuuugh !
