Joe, I am not sure of the name of the quarry. It is over by a place called Agate mountain. The rock looks to have Jasper, Chert, and Agate all marbled together, from red to tan to cream and clear.
Chris, yes once you've seen one mountain, well there still a pain to walk up and over.
Charlie, as a kid I just took them for granted, but now I look forward to seen them when ever I get back to the state. It tells me I am home.
Gary, the hard part when looking at the ground is you get knocked on your butt by the low lying branches, that's when you see the mountains.
