While most everyone else is enjoying the heat (or not). I just watched the news and they say we will get "SNOW" tonight. Well someone asked me what we do in the summer up here, and I said if it falls on Saturday we play baseball. Maybe we can get Butch to broadcast it. and if it falls on Sunday we go Arrowhead hunting.

The good thing Chase, it won't last long and the melt off may expose some artifacts! Until then, go skiing.

Man Chase I could not imagine snow in May here in KS. Have had snow in April not May!! Had very mild winter here, paying for it now ( weeds & bugs) allergies also bad here!!

What elevation are you at? Amazing we take it for granted that the snow is long gone here and you folks in the mountains get what, 3 months without it?

Thanks Chris, we do need the snow, but this storm was a dud. We only got about a half inch and it has already melted. No skiing this time around.

Joe, I have seen it snow every month out of the year, but we also have had a mild winter.

Greg, for the most part your right. there is usually three months that it dose not snow, but with that said from the end of march through September, the snow dose not stick to the ground. The town sits at 10,000 feet the mountain peaks go up to 14,000 feet Up there they can have snow year around in spots.

Ha! Ya Chase, we got about two inches last night. Damn spring time in the Rockies, I had my windows open at night (it's been 60's - 75 degrees during the day the last two weeks), then last night the heater kicks on, cause it was 20 degrees this morning! Then back to 65 today! Just part of the fun of living here, you get every season in the same day, sometimes in the same hour! lol
