TOPIC: Arrowhead recently purchased, need info please

Arrowhead recently purchased, need info please 9 months 5 days ago #57687

I recently bought a beautiful arrowhead that I am going to make a necklace with. I would just like to know something about it such as age, type, tribe, etc. Will be most gratefull for any feedback.
What I know: Found near a river in St. Clair county Missouri
Seller says that since it is so small it could have washed down from as far as Nebraska.
Length is about 3 1/2 CM. very small
Photo attached.

Thanks!!! Tony Michau

It is better to burn out than fade away.

Welcome to the forum Tony I am glad Ray could point you in the right direction. Not all of the members here are up on all point types from all around the country. I am from New England and I have studied points from that location since the 1980's. Been collecting since 1963 but didnt start hitting the books until around 83. Anyway that is a nice point thanks for showing it and come on back and show us what the Necklace looks like when your done.
