NC81 (NC13). Mesolithic symmetrical core adze, 5 1/8" L x 2" W, found Koge, Isle of Sealand, Denmark, tan chert with a beautiful orange patina,  his artifacts occur  wherever core axes are found and are attributed to the Younger Maglemose Culture (8900-6400BP), the Kongemose Culture (6400-5400 BP),  and the Older Erteboelle - Ellerbek Cultres (5400-4000 BP), a fine example of an uncommon woodworking tool from the Mesolithic Period, $160.
