Q: Is it legal to buy and sell Native American artifacts?

A: Yes, as long as the items were found in accordance with state and federal laws, they are completely legal to buy, sell, and trade. Please review YOUR STATE’S LAWS if you are in question about the legality of what you are selling. By submitting artifacts to us, you certify that the artifacts were legally obtained in accordance to all federal and state laws. https://arrowheads.com/federal-and-state-regulations/  , State laws may vary from state to state.

Q: What types of items does Arrowheads.com purchase?

A: While our main focus is in our namesake, our interests range from average field grade artifacts, to collections containing “High Grade” Artifacts including; Arrowheads, Spear Points, Bannerstones, Birdstones, Gorgets, Pendants, Axes, Celts, Discoidals, Pipes & Pottery. We are your one stop shop to sell it all.

Q: How do I go about selling my collection?

A: The process is quick and simple. Start by filling out the collection information form here . Once we make our initial evaluation, depending on where you are located, you can bring the items to one of our offices, ship them to us, or we can very likely just appraise your collection from well taken photographs. For very large collections, we occasionally can travel to your location for viewing. This will allow us to evaluate them in person for the most accurate pricing.

Q: I don’t know how much my collection is worth.

A: No worries, we can help you. Start by reviewing the information here: https://arrowheads.com/arrowhead-and-indian-artifact-appraisals/

Q: I don’t really want to sell anything or have it appraised. I just want to know what I have and discuss it with other collectors.

A: We have the answer!!  Please join our online forum. It is free and we have collectors on line daily from around the country. Fill out the form on this page to register for free. https://forums.arrowheads.com/

Q: How will I get paid?

A: We offer fast and easy payment options regardless of the size of your collection. In-person transactions can be made by cash or check. If you mail your items to us, we can issue payment by check or PayPal. Most collections can be evaluated and settled within a few days.

Q: If I live too far away, is it possible to mail my arrowheads to you? If so, how do I safely package them for shipping?

A: Yes, it is quite common for arrowheads to be mailed to us from around the globe. The process is easy, and when properly packaged and insured, completely safe and trouble free. Arrowheads can be surprisingly fragile, so each one should be wrapped separately in bubble wrap or other padding (tissue paper, newspaper, cloth, etc.) that will protect them from bumping into each other during transit. If you simply place a group of arrowheads in a bag and mail them you can expect breakage which will seriously hurt their value.

Q: Where do I ship the items to?

A: Once items are submitted we will contact you with instructions.

Q: How do I contact arrowheads.com about selling my collection?
